Biles claimed her fourth silver medal of the Paris Olympics with a strong performance in the floor exercise final. Despite a remarkable display, she was edged out of the top spot by a narrow margin.
Disappointment in Balance Beam Finals
In the beam final, Biles slipped off the apparatus, causing her to miss the podium. She was not alone, as fellow American gymnast Suni Lee also fell from the beam, resulting in both athletes failing to secure a medal.
Although Biles' scores were not enough to secure a spot on the podium, her perseverance and determination in the face of adversity were on full display.
