Dalvin Cook Joins Dallas Cowboys: A New Chapter for the Four-Time Pro Bowl Running Back
The Dallas Cowboys have signed Dalvin Cook, a four-time Pro Bowl selection, to a one-year deal, as confirmed by his agency to NFL Network. Cook, 29, will start his new journey with the Cowboys, bringing his impressive skills to the team.
A Proven Track Record
Cook has made the Pro Bowl in four of the last six seasons, showcasing his remarkable talent on the field. His best seasons came from 2019-2022 with the Minnesota Vikings, where he ran for at least 1,135 yards each season, with a career-best 1,557 yards in 2020.
A New Beginning
After playing for the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Jets, Cook is eager to start anew with the Cowboys. He expressed confidence in his abilities, stating that he has "plenty left in the tank" and is ready to "help everybody and be productive" as the newest member of the Cowboys' practice squad.
With his impressive Dalvin Cook stats, including four straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons, Cook is expected to bring a new level of excitement to the Cowboys' offense. His experience playing under Cowboys new defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer, who was the Minnesota Vikings coach at the time, will also be an asset to the team.
