In Memory of Kris Hallenga: A Fearless Breast Cancer Awareness Advocate
Kris Hallenga, the founder of CoppaFeel!, a charity dedicated to educating young people about breast cancer and early detection, has sadly passed away at the age of 38. Diagnosed with terminal breast cancer 15 years ago, Kris dedicated her life to spreading awareness and encouraging millions of women to check their breasts.
A Life of Purpose and Passion
Despite being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at the age of 23, Kris resolved to set up CoppaFeel! and campaign tirelessly for breast cancer awareness. Her remarkable story was even profiled in a documentary, Kris: Dying to Live, which highlighted her experience with terminal breast cancer.
A Life Well-Lived
Kris lived life to the full, writing a book, Glittering a Turd, and even throwing a "living funeral" to celebrate her life. Her bravery and resilience inspired countless individuals, and her legacy will continue to inspire and educate generations to come.
Kris Hallenga will be deeply missed, but her courage, determination, and passion for spreading awareness about breast cancer will never be forgotten.
