The Early Years
The band, comprising lead vocalist Danny O'Donoghue, lead guitarist Mark Sheehan, and drummer Glen Power, moved to London after signing with Sony Label Group imprint Phonogenic. Their debut album, The Script, was released in 2008, featuring hits like "We Cry", "Break Even", and "Before the Worst". The album topped the charts in Ireland and the UK.
A String of Successful Albums
Their subsequent albums, Science & Faith, #3, and No Sound Without Silence, all reached the top of the album charts in Ireland and the UK. The albums featured hit singles like "For the First Time", "Nothing", "Hall of Fame", and "Superheroes".
Their fifth studio album, Freedom Child, was released in 2017, featuring the UK Top 20 single "Rain". This was followed by their sixth studio album, Sunsets & Full Moons, in 2019, with the single "The Last Time". A Greatest Hits album was released in 2021.
Tour Dates and Satellites World Tour
The Script has announced their Satellites World Tour, with 10 UK dates, including Birmingham, Liverpool, Glasgow, Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, and London. Fans can catch them on tour this year.
